Advantages of rolling:

• high repetition. The profile of the rolled threads is extremely precise and therefore there is no difference among parts;
• greatly reduced roughness on the sides (equal or better than a ground surface);
• greater resistance against wear given deformation causes smoothing of the contact surface – reducing friction, thereby allowing less working effort as well as reduced motor absorption;
• increased material strength by hardening the sides of the thread where the load is heaviest;
• more silent motor/reducer.
